A long overdue update:
Our application for the fiancee visa was approved on June 3, 2003. Yeah!!!
We are know at stage two awaiting paperwork from the National Visa Center (more forms to complete and send in) and then Marlene's interview with the US Embassy here in Canada. Let's all hope for the best. Fingers crossed we hope that the final approval will come in by the end of summer.
In the meantime I am planning a reception in Vancouver in September to celebrate with family and friends here before we get married in Charlotte later this year.
The Vancouver celebration is planned for Sept 14, 2003 and we hope to exchange vows but save the legal stuff for the US.
Yes, this romance is as complicated as ever. :) The good news is it hasn't deterred us.
