Busy, busy, busy ...

Sean and I have been so wrapped up in things lately, we haven't spent much time on this website.

In May we spent a Saturday in Blowing Rock for the Art In the Park day. Sean showcased new Black & White Photography taken with some antique and old-style cameras. It was really cool.

We did some food photography for a presentation. That was actually kind of fun. The most challenging part for me was making some devilled eggs that look as good as they taste.

We spent Memorial Day weekend at Grandma's in Roanoke. We did some work in Grandma's garden. It felt good to be able to do something nice for her. We enjoyed breakfasts on her porch, and dinner at the Fuji Palace. Much fun.

June started with a visit from my pal Arghi. I haven't seen her since our wedding in September of 2003. Too long!! It was like we hadn't spent any time apart. So much fun to finish a bottle of red wine with my best pal and talk and talk and talk while Sean took cover.

Last weekend we photographed a wedding in Shelby, NC. Sean did a great job with the formals, and I had fun getting to help with the candid shots.
I was surprised looking through the proofs when I complemented a few shots that a couple of them were mine. See how good a job you can do when your photographer-husband checks the settings on your camera, gives you a good lense and a fancy flash thing and lets you have at it????

The summer moves on at a brisk pace, we have another wedding coming up soon, an arts festival in Waynesville, NC, more Blowing Rock shows, Sean is going to teach a couple of photography classes later this summer, and the list goes on and on.

Hope you are enjoying your summer too!! We've started to put some pictures in the gallery -- check here.
