Well we're just shy of Easter and the signs of spring are finally starting to make their appearances. We had some early blooms in February, but then it got cold and the poor pansies planted by enterprising landscapers froze.
The trees are blooming, the daffodils are coming up in bunches and those we know with allergies are starting to suffer.
Sean and I spent the weekend starting the prep for the market-season. We wanted to get a few new photos into the inventory. It's kind of fun trying to find everyday objects to take photos of to show them in a different perspective. I made up some bubbles for my rubber duckie for some new kid-friendly greeting cards. We set a piece of plexiglass over a cardboard box and lit it from the underside to get some translucent photos of orange slices (didn't turn out to well) and of an old-fashioned lollipop (turned out rather niftily).
We plan to be out at the Charlotte Farmer's Market the first Saturday in April -- April 2nd.
Sean has also re-tooled the photography site and I think it's fantastic. It's fully e-commerce enabled and we are more than happy to ship to both the US and Canada (I know some of you might be concerned about that ... :-) )
The newer pics will be up soon.
We are planning to be up in Winston-Salem celebrating Easter with Sean's aunts, cousins and Grandmother, so I promise to get our personal gallery updated with some photos from that expedition as well.
